Equity Fund Manager of the Year Insto Distinction awards 2007

BT Investment Management was named Equity Fund Manager of the Year at the 9th annual Insto Distinction awards on 12 February 2008. Presented in association with Standard & Poor’s, the Equity Fund Manager of the Year award was a new category within Insto magazine’s annual awards which recognise the achievements and excellence in Australian debt, equity and merger and acquisition markets.

Property Securities (Australia) Fund Manager of the Year Money Management/
Lonsec awards 2008

In May 2008, BT Investment Management won the Property Securities (Australia) category in the prestigious 2008 Money Management/Lonsec Fund Manager of the Year awards. Judges cited BT Investment Management’s “strong collegiate culture, flexibility and minimal exposure to the Centro refinancing issues”.

Blue Ribbon award 2008

BT Investment Management won the Smart Investor Blue Ribbon award for the BT Wholesale Ethical Conservative Fund in the Multi-Sector-Conservative category in July 2008.

Standard & Poor’s Fund Manager of the Year award 2008

BT Investment Management was named as Fund Manager of the Year. Standard & Poor’s said this was in part to recognise BT Investment Management’s established and professional team and in part to commend the recent changes to its business structure, which it views in a positive light: “BT Investment Management offers a good suite of Australian equity products across a range of risk profiles, including equity-income and ethical-investing products”.

BT Investment Management also won the Standard & Poor’s Australian Equity Large Caps Fund Manager of the Year award. The award recognises Crispin Murray and his Australian Equities team whose objective is to deliver strong, consistent performance to investors while paying close attention to risks.
